The Delavan Christian School Endowment supports Delavan Christian School by providing annual scholarship funding for DCS families. The DCS Endowment is incorporated separately from DCS and is also a 501c3 non-profit. All donations are tax-deductible. Established in 1998, the DCS Endowment provides financial assistance to families who desire Christian education, but cannot afford the full tuition at DCS. Similar to other endowments, approximately 4% of total DCS Endowment funds are sent to its beneficiary (in this case DCS) on an annual basis for tuition assistance. The balance of the money is invested and continues to grow. This financial assistance for families in need, results in Christian education in perpetuity. Since 2014, the Endowment has provided $174,000 in tuition assistance to DCS families. This provision is an amazing accomplishment and a blessing from God. We would like to thank the generous donors for your continued support. Financial gifts come in a wide range of donations, from small to large…and everywhere in between. You may donate to the DCS Endowment in several ways:
1) Mail checks to Delavan Christian School Endowment, 848 Oak St. Delavan, Wis. 53115.
2) Appreciated stocks or mutual funds may be donated directly to the Endowment account with potential tax savings for the donor. Call Joe Bunker at 262-745-0778 or Form Wealth at 262-686-3005.
3) Online donations are accepted through the DCS website: Support DCS/Donate. Please put “Endowment” in the Memo.
4) If you are 70½ or older with an IRA, you may make Qualified Charitable Distributions up to $105,000 per year. Donations made as QCD’s may provide significant tax savings (please consult with your tax advisor).
5) There are also ways to remember the DCS Endowment in your estate. It can be as easy as designating the Delavan Christian School Endowment as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401K or life insurance policy (with the EIN: 47-4359659).
6) You can donate all or a portion of real estate, businesses, farmland, farm equipment and many other assets to the DCS Endowment through our partners at Barnabas Foundation.
