Students in 5th - 8th grade join the other CSI Wisconsin schools at an annual Speech and Spelling Competition. The event is held at Oostburg Christian School on a Friday in early November. Students can perform pieces individually or in a group. Each school is also represented by two participants in the spelling bee. A DCS Speech and Spelling Night is hosted at the school before the competition. This allows parents to watch their children perform and helps get practice with a live audience.
