Coordinated by the science teacher, fifth through eighth-grade students prepare individual projects. The Science Fair is usually scheduled in January, February, or March. Students come up with an idea for a project, conduct experiments, and present results. Guest judges evaluate the projects during the day, and families are invited to come to check them out in the evening. Students in lower grades usually do a class project.
